A contemporary residence whose whole design argument rests on how late afternoon light moves across the western facade. Elevations cannot carry that. The image has to.

Our approach

The sun study was built against the real site orientation before anything else, and the camera locked to the specific hour the design was made for. Materials came afterwards and were treated as a secondary problem — because when the light is right, the finishes only need to be accurate rather than compensatory.

Look closely

Look at the shadow the eave throws across the upper glazing. That angle is the actual sun position for that latitude at that hour, not a lighting rig placed to flatter the building.
